The cost of education is rising nationwide, but Bryan College has seen the need to subsidize costs and has responded against the odds to offer scholarship assistance to meet the needs of students interested in its quickly growing dual enrollment program.

Bryan College offers dual enrollment courses both onsite in Dayton and at several partner school sites across the region, in addition to online courses. The dual enrollment opportunity is available to both Tennessee and non-Tennessee students.

Director of Dual Enrollment Janine McCurdy stated that Bryan College is committed to keeping the cost of dual enrollment accessible to students locally, regionally and nationally.  Beginning fall 2015, Bryan College will be offering a $200 dual enrollment scholarship per course for both in-state and out-of-state students. This, coupled with the Tennessee dual enrollment grant, allows Tennessee juniors and seniors the opportunity to take several college courses for free.

Bryan dual enrollment students also have the opportunity to participate in a 16-day-long fine arts tour and course in Italy.

Former dual enrollment student and recent Bryan graduate Andrew Morrison of Pennsylvania commented that he graduated a year early this month because he was able to take Bryan’s dual enrollment courses.

“Having dual enrollment at Bryan helped me complete two-year pre-requisites at our local community college in three semesters,” added another student from Indiana. “The professors cared about their students, and I really appreciated how the courses solidified my Biblical worldview.”
