Bob Lee Davis, Sr., 88, of Hixson, died on Tuesday, May 19, 2015.
He was retired from Ganns Middle Valley Elementary School, and he was an avid blue grass musician.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita F. Davis.
Survivors include his sons, Scott Davis (Doris), David Davis, Bobby Davis (Pat); daughter, Shirley Wyatt (Frank); sister, Mary London (Ed); several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20, in Foster-Hixson Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1-2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, prior to the graveside service, at the funeral home.
