U.S. Army Colonel Retired After 32 Years

Dr. C. Neil Herrick, 83, of Signal Mountain, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2015 at his home.  He was born January 29, 1932 in Ogden, Utah to the late Clyde William and Eliza Priscilla Herrick. 

He was a retired colonel in the United States Army following 32 years of service.  He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. 

His sister, June Roper preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Catherine “Cathy Herrick; daughter, Tamara Ramos of Hawaii; Stephanie Maya Herrick of Chattanooga; step-son, Seth (Lyndsey) Parker of Marietta, GA.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, May 28, at 1:30 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1160 Ridgeway Avenue, Signal Mountain, TN  37377 (located just before the post-office).  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12-1:30 p.m. at the church. 

Inurnment will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, TN  37343.
