Sneed, Ella Faye (Cleveland)

Ella Faye Sneed, 82, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday morning, May 26, 2015.

Faye was born in Cleveland on October 7, 1932 to the late Russell J. McElrath & Ella Ree Cain McElrath. She is a member of Clingan Ridge Baptist Church. Faye's greatest joy was spending time and taking care of her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandchild; and one great-grandchild. 

Faye is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Charles E. Sneed; six children, Dale Sneed and his wife Ginger, Teresa Allen and her husband Marvin, Karen Wright, Danny Sneed and his wife Lourdes, Jeff Sneed and his wife Becky and Kelli Suits and her husband Brian;13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous other extended family members, church family  and special friends. 

A celebration of her life is planned for Friday, May 29 at 7 p.m. at the Clingan Ridge Baptist Church located at 2412 Georgetown Road NW in Cleveland, TN with the Dr. Sammy Hooker and the Reverend Nathan Sneed officiating. 

The family will receive friends at the church on Friday, May 29 from 4-7 p.m.

The family will have a private interment on Saturday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Russell Sneed, Shaun Sneed, Denny Webb, Tim Sneed, Charlie Sneed and Jonathan Grider serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the deacons of Clingan Ridge Baptist Church.

Companion Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
