Clarence Bowman
Clarence Raymond Bowman, 84 of Ooltewah, died on Thursday, May 28, 2015.
He was born on March 1, 1931, to the late Clarence and Eunice Harold Bowman. Raymond was a member of the Ooltewah Baptist Church. He retired from DuPont as an electrician and was the past president of the Chattanooga Amateur Radio Club. Raymond proudly served his county during the Korean Conflict as a member of the U.S. Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Garnett, Richard and Dan and his sisters, Katherine and Margaret.
Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of 60 years, Anna Johns Bowman; three children, Michael (Kathy) Bowman, Jane Bowman and Alan (Sheila) Bowman; grandson Matthew and sister-in-law, Myrom Bowman.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 1, in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Derrick Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
