Marion Lee Baker Moran, 51, of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, died on Monday, May 4, 2015.  She died suddenly of natural causes at her home.

She will be dearly missed by many, including her husband, Richard “Rick” Moran, children, Austin and Logan Stephens, mother and stepfather, Nancy and Shuford Johnston, siblings, Frank and Anna Baker and Kelly Brock, nieces and nephews, Mary Alice, Summer and Baker Brock, Charlie and Susannah Baker, step-daughter, Kristen Moran and step-grandson, Zander Moran.

Lee was at peace in this time of her life. She had reconciled with Christ, her sons and family after a long struggle with addiction earlier in life. She cherished spending time with Rick, her sons and family, and playing with her dog George. She was a wonderful caregiver to her grandmother, Gee Gee, caring for her until she passed.  Lee never met a stranger.  She was always very straight forward with her dry wit.  She was a professional wall paper hanger and owner of Candyland, she took great pride in her work.

Lee was preceded in death by her father, Charles B. Baker, grandparents, Col. Frank M. and Lilian B. Baker, A. C. Pruett and Geraldine P. Allison.

A memorial service will be held in the Wann Funeral Home chapel on Thursday, May 7, at 3 p.m. with Pastor Tim Tinsley officiating.

Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent in Lee’s memory to CADAS, American Heart Association, American Liver Foundation or the charity of your choice.

Arrangements are by Wann Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 4000 Tennessee Ave., Chattanooga, Tn. 37409, 423 821-7551.
