Charles Meredith Tutton Jr., 83, of Summerville, Georgia, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015, at his residence.
He was a son of the late C. M. Tutton, Sr. and the late Ola H. Herring Tutton. Mr. Tutton was a Veteran of Korea serving in the U. S. Navy, a member of American Legion Post #129, V.F.W. Post #6688, and a member of Chattooga Lodge #704 F & AM. He was a partner in the former Tutton Auto Parts Company.
Mr. Tutton was preceded in death by his wife, Toni Woods Tutton on August 22, 2014.
Survivors include his sons, Charles Randall Tutton of New Zeland and William Meredith “Bill” Tutton of Summerville; grandchildren, Nicholas Tutton and Natalie Tutton; and sister, Martha Ballenger of Summerville.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 3, at 1 p.m. from Graveside in Lyerly Cemertery with Mr. Sam Finster officiating.
The Family requests no flowers and suggests contributions to the Hope Rebirth Homeless Shelter #50 Eleanor Avenue, Summerville, Georgia.
