HTI Employment Solutions is hosting a job fair for a Tier 1 Supplier to Volkswagen on June 24 from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn, 2343 Shallowford Village Dr. near Hamilton Place Mall.
HTI is seeking qualified workers for temp-to-hire positions as well as direct hire positions. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Automotive manufacturing experience is preferred but not required. The jobs will include benefits and those selected will become part of the growing automotive workforce in Chattanooga.
Workers from North Alabama and North Georgia who’ve recently been informed that their positions are being eliminated from manufacturing facilities are encouraged to come to this particular job fair. With employment opportunities in manufacturing growing nationally as well as locally, Tier 1 suppliers to Volkswagen are ramping up their efforts.
