GDOL To Help Lake Winnepesaukah Hire Lifeguards Next Week In Rossville

The Georgia Department of Labor will help Lake Winnepesaukah, an amusement park near Chattanooga, recruit 12 certified lifeguards next week in Rossville.

The recruitment will be held Thursday, July 7, from 2-6 p.m. at the park located at 1730 Lakeview Dr. The park will be open until Oct. 31.

In addition to being certified, applicants must be able to pass a swimming test. For those who are not certified, the Red Cross will conduct a life guard training program at the lake Friday, July 10.
The cost to attend the training is $200. The certification is valid for two years.

Salaries depend on experience.
