Troy Hammett Named CHI Memorial CFO

Troy D. Hammett, FACHE, CPA has been named senior vice president of finance and chief financial officer of CHI Memorial.

“Troy has more than 16 years of healthcare leadership experience with complex health systems in Georgia and Ohio, as well as 10 years as a financial and strategic advisor in senior management at regional and national healthcare financial consulting firms,” said Rick Napper, CHI Memorial interim CEO.  “We are fortunate to have Troy’s expertise and leadership as we navigate the changing landscape of the health care environment.”

Mr. Hammett has a strong background in all components of the financial industry as well as strategic plan development, managed care strategy, physician enterprise development, and corporate responsibility. He most recently served as division vice president, finance, at OhioHealth, Columbus, Ohio. His work in designing a revenue cycle framework led to national recognition by Modern Healthcare for significant revenue cycle improvements.

Mr. Hammett holds a master’s degree in health administration from Ohio University and is a Certified Public Accountant and Fellow Designate in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
