Johnson Wins Women's City Title

Lauren Johnson won the 2015 Chattanooga Women's Golf Association championship on Thursday at the Lookout Mountain Golf Club.

Johnson, who plays for Vanderbilt, defeated her former Baylor School teammate, Blakesly Warren, who plays for Tennessee.

Johnson was the medalist in qualifying for the tournament, while Carlene Ryon was the handicap champion with a net 68. 

Patty Donahoo won the first-flight final Thursday against Nancy Logue, and Lynn Heck beat Evelyn Marie Williams in the second-flight final.

Susan Thurman was the senior division's champion with a 36-hole 165 (84-81), andSylvia Friedl was the net champion with a 138.
