Rebecca Mitchell King, 86, of Dalton, died on Friday, July 24, 2015 at the Chatsworth Health Care Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred King; daughter, Judy A. King; brothers, Willard Mitchell, W.R. Mitchell, Melvin (Mac) Mitchell, and Dewey Mitchell; one sister, Eileen (Bill) Gamblin.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mitzi and Tommy Young of Dalton; brother, Walter Mitchell of Dalton; grandchildren, Stephanie Smith and husband Shannon Smith and T.J. Young; great grandchildren, Lenox Smith, Mason Hunter, and Keaton Smith; nieces and nephews, one brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law.

The funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 26, at 2 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Dr. Charlie Bridges officiating. Burial will be in United Memorial Gardens. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 6-9 p.m.
