Well Done, Col. Norris

  • Sunday, July 26, 2015

Thousands of folks lined the streets Friday to honor Staff Sgt. David Wyatt. Huge flags were hung high in the air, a special locomotive was parked at the National Cemetery, and scores of flags, banners and signs were displayed.

I hope one other thing was not missed. The road right of ways used on the funeral precession received a bit of special attention. They were freshly mowed, trimmed and litter picked up, making a nice place to stand.

A small detail, but that’s what soldiers do. Well done, Col. Norris.
