Northwest Georgia Bank announced that Taryn Hall-Roberts will join the Fort Oglethorpe branch, at Battlefield Parkway and Dietz Road, to serve as assistant vice president branch manager.

“We are tremendously excited to have Taryn join our branch team as manager of the Fort Oglethorpe branch,” said Rich Balthrop, vice president of Retail and Sales. “Her familiarity with the Fort Oglethorpe and North Georgia area, as well as her cash management experience, will prove important attributes as she takes on this new role.”

She quickly worked her way up the retail ranks of Northwest, serving as assistant head teller, head teller and a Financial Services representative. She was promoted to the in-store manager of the Lafayette office in 2012 and the assistant branch manager of the East Ridge office in 2013. Most recently, she served as Treasury Management officer.

Ms. Hall-Roberts is attending the Georgia Northwestern Technical College in pursuit of a Business Management degree. She recently received Human Resource Management Specialist and Supervisor/Manager Specialist certifications from GNTC. She and her family live in Chickamauga.
