Frances Hix
Frances Louise Hix, 86, of Ringgold, Georgia, died on Monday, July 27, 2015.
Ms. Hix retired from Erlanger Medical Center with over 30 years of service. She also worked for Hutcheson Medical for several years following her retirement. Her passions in life were family, travel and reading.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Franklin Hix, son, Ronald Gene Hix and parents, Grady and Ellen Walker.
Survivors include her sons, Kenneth Franklin Hix, Ronald Franklin Hix, Kenneth Lebron Hix, grandchildren, Ronald D. Hix, Kristy Lynn Walker, Patricia Ann Morgan, Grady James Hix, Laura Ellen Hix, Frances Rose Smith and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 30, at 1 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with the Rev. James Hatcher officiating. Burial will follow in the Chattanooga Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 29, from 4-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
