Hamilton County Funds Need To Stay Local - And Response

  • Friday, July 3, 2015

After reading the recent article in the Chattanoogan about the WWTA and local plumbers I think the prospect of WWTA using outside contractors would be bad for Hamilton County.

As a Hamilton County resident and taxpayer, I believe the money should stay in our local economy.

The WWTA needs to find a way to work with the local plumbers to keep the funds in Hamilton County.

It doesn't make any sense for the WWTA to want to bring in outside plumbers to do the work that local companies are willing to do.

The citizens of Hamilton County work hard to earn their money and it is not right that WWTA had rather the money go to outsiders.

The taxpayers should have a say in where and how their money is spent.
