Sheryl Marie Dills, 50, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Tuesday July 28, 2015 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.
She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin John Dick.
She was a member of Valley Brook Church of God and held a deep love for animals, especially cats.
She is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, Jimmy Dills; mother and step-father, Regenia and Ralph Goswick all of Dalton; brother and sister-in-law, Tony and Debra Dick of Stockbridge; and special great-niece and nephew, Ella and Noah Busie.
A memorial service will be held Friday, July 31 at 2 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Junior Clayton and Rev. Jerry Greer officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, July 31 from 11 a.m. until the service time of 2 p.m.
