Dennis Delmar Unterseher, 74, of Ooltewah, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at his home.
He was born on Nov. 16, 1940. Dennis had been a resident of Ooltewah for 19 months after moving from Mayville, ND. He loved visiting with friends and family, maintaining his home and yard, and bird watching. He enjoyed farming and spent his life on his family farm in ND before retiring in 2013. He was a lifelong member of the Seventh Day Adventist church in ND and TN, and participated in church and school building projects in the US and Mexico.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother; sisters, Glynice Zielen and Karen Fike; and brother, Loren Unterseher.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Jeanne Hagel Unterseher; sons, Darin Unterseher and Craig Unterseher; sister, Marlene Page; and brothers, Alden Unterseher and Arlo Unterseher.
The funeral service will be held at the Grand Forks SDA church in ND on Aug. 9. Interment will be at the Bowdon, ND SDA cemetery.
