JACKSONVILE, Fla. - The first half winners, the Chattanooga Lookouts, have lost all but one game of the second half. Jacksonville Suns shutout the Lookouts 3-0 Saturday night at Bragan Field.

Trevor Williams (W, 4-7) earned the victory after tossing six scoreless innings in which he allowed two hits while walking a pair of batters and striking out six.

Brett Lee was terrific,and efficient, but the Lookout bats were only able to manage two hits and continued to struggle since not playing for three straight days.

Max Kepler and Heiker Meneses each had a single and a walk in the game.

Due to frustration, hitting coach Chad Allen was ejected in the sixth inning.

Brett Lee fell to 0-2 on the season, but he worked all eight innings and threw just 77 pitches (58 strikes). He gave up three runs on seven hits. He walked none and struck out two.

Suns closer Juancito Martinez (S, 4) earned his fourth save of the year tossing a scoreless ninth.

The scoring would begin in the bottom of the first with four-straight base hits that were highlighted by J.T. Riddle and Matt Juengel's RBI base knocks giving the Suns a 2-0 lead.

Jacksonville tacked one more run after they worked the bases loaded for Kenny Wilson's RBI sacrifice fly to left field. The Suns would now hold onto a 3-0 advantage through five frames of play.

The Suns and Lookouts will square off again Sunday night from Bragan Field with a first pitch set for 6:05 p.m. ET.

Jacksonville will send out right-hander Austin Brice (3-6, 5.61 ERA) while the Lookouts will counter with righty D.J. Baxendale (3-1, 3.74 ERA).  

Notes

The Lookouts have added two players to their roster:RHP Scott Atchison and INF Aderling Mejia.

Atchison comes from the Cleveland Indians organization where he pitched in 23 games in the majors and had an ERA of 6.86. Last season he pitched 72 innings for Cleveland and finished 2014 with an ERA of 2.75.

Mejia comes to Chattanooga after playing with Fort Myers. The infielder hit .196 in 29 games with the team and recorded a season-high three hits on 4/24.

Jorge Polanco recorded a hit yesterday in his debut for Rochester. Polanco is just one of seven former Lookouts currently on the Triple-A Rochester team. Tyler Duffey is another former Lookouts player in Triple-A and is currently dominating the International league. After allowing seven runs on 6/11 Duffey has not surrendered an earned run in 29.1 straight innings.
