Pauline Ruth McDonald, 92, of Summerville, Georgia, died on Sunday, July 5, 2015, at Cherokee County Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. McDonald was born Feb. 26, 1923, in Cedar Bluff, Al., daughter of the late Otis Roy and Oshie Ann Steele Richardson. She was a member of the Horizon Baptist Fellowship, and prior to her retirement, worked as a Nursing Assistant for 24 years at the Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John "Tom" McDonald.
Mrs. McDonald is survived by her son, John T. McDonald, Jr. of Edina, MN; a brother, J. L. Richardson of Gadsden, AL; and a sister, Kathleen Mills of Centre, AL.
Graveside and interment services for Mrs. McDonald will be held at noon on Wednesday, July 8, at the West Hill Cemetery with Reverend Scott Quinn officiating.
Mrs. McDonald will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2015.
