Local Author William McDonald Announces Book Signing Event On Sept. 12-13

  • Monday, August 17, 2015

Chattanooga author, William McDonald will be conducting a book signing event for his first novel “Living Large, The Memoir of a 28 Pound Kitty”, at Petsmart, Gunbarrel Road location on Sept. 12 from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sept. 13, from 1-5 p.m.

"Living Large is told through the eyes of Rumrunner McDonald, a 28 pound kitty who describes his fabulous life which began on a beautiful lake in rural Alabama, then changed to the glitzy world of movie stars and palm trees in Los Angeles, and then later to the great foothills of Tennessee.

Rumrunner tells not only about his adventures when he and his sister ran away as new kittens, part of an unwanted litter, to avoid being separated, but retells some very profound stories he heard from his new parents and their guests, but also what he has seen and heard on television. His story is laced with many life lessons, in particular bullying, of which he was a victim most of his life as a result of his size. With no sex, curse words or political agendas, this 273 page book with 16 pages of pictures is to be enjoyed by folks eight to 98," officials said.

The book is available in hardback and paperback versions.
