A LaFayette woman has cemented winning a prize from the Georgia Lottery. Tiffany Hall, 35, was selected as a winner of the Jackpot Series Second Chance Promotion, winning a 2015 Kia Optima EX.

“It doesn’t seem real,” said Ms. Hall, who is a caregiver for the elderly. “I’ve never had a new car before, so this is going to be exciting.”

Georgia Lottery representatives presented Ms. Hall with the keys to her new vehicle Friday at Ed Voyles Kia, 2145 South Cobb Drive in Smyrna.

Ms. Hall watched television commercials advertising the promotion, which prompted her to play.

“I bought the tickets and entered them online,” she recalled.

Ms. Hall considers winning her prize unbelievable.

“But it was meant,” she shared.

Jackpot Series is a new family of Georgia Lottery instant games with prizes ranging from $50,000 to $3 million.  Ticket prices for the games are $1, $2, $5 and $20.

Players can enter non-winning Jackpot Series tickets online for a chance to win a 2015 Kia Optima EX.
