Darrell Bannon
Darrell L. Bannon, 46, of Chattanooga, died on Friday, August 28, 2015.
A native of Southaven, MS, he had been a resident of the Chattanooga area for the past 14 years. He was a loving husband, devoted father, brother and grandfather. An avid Razorback fan, he was employed with Volkswagen here in Chattanooga.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Bannon.
Survivors include his loving wife Sandy Saylors-Bannon; three daughters, Sabra Bannon, Biloxi, MS, Kayla Oostra and Kristina Taylor both of Chattanooga; grandson, Oliver Oostra; father, Charles (Charlotte) Bannon, Nesbit, MS; brother, David (Tracie) Bannon, Chattanooga; sister, Carol (John) Taylor, Scottsboro, AL; step-sister, Tara Pickett, Nesbit, MS and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 1, with Reverend Weyland Stewart officiating, in the Valley View Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Monday at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
