Work on the major bridge repair project on the South Crest Road Bridge over I-24 and East Main Street in Chattanooga continues. During the project, the bridge itself is closed, as well as the section of East Main Street beneath the bridge. Detours are posted for the duration of the project.
Estimated project completion date has been extended through Sept. 25.
