Multi-Platinum selling artist Brantley Gilbert prepares for a bittersweet homage to five courageous fallen soldiers at a city-wide celebration on Wednesday at Chattanooga Unite:  A Tribute on the River.  Slated to join the performance at Riverfront stage honoring the military families and the community are Trace Adkins, Colt Ford and Aaron Lewis.

An avid supporter of the military, Mr. Brantley felt a call to action when he heard the news of the tragic July 16 shooting.
The hit singer/songwriter, who has racked up six #1 singles, impressive Platinum-selling albums and multiple award show nominations, announced the special concert on-air with Chattanooga's US101.

Mr. Brantley’s set will culminate the day-long celebration, which also includes a performance by Harry Connick, Jr.  and a memorial ceremony emceed by Chattanooga native Samuel L. Jackson. The U.S. Navy Blue Angels will flyover at 4:30 p.m.  Full details on the Armed Forces parade and other festivities can be found at ChattanoogaUnite.org.

In lieu of ticket fees, attendees are encouraged to make donations at collection bins placed throughout the event or online at ChattanoogaUnite.org. Funds will benefit The National Compassion Fund.
