Several Road Closures Scheduled For This Weekend

Riverfront Parkway will be closed from Aquarium Way to the entrance to the Riverfront parking lot will be closed for the 3 Sisters Festival from noon to midnight on Friday and from 10 a.m. to midnight on Saturday. The ramp from the Veteran’s Bridge onto Riverfront will also be closed.  Please watch for posted detours.  

 

Ivy Street and East 5th Street between North Lyerly Street and Derby Street will be closed from 9 a.m.-11 p.m on Saturday for the Glenwood Jazz Festival.

 

Walnut Street from Aquarium Way to the end of the bridge will be closed on Saturday from 8 a.m.-11:30 p.m. for the Wine Over Water event, which will take place on the Walnut Street Bridge from 5-8 p.m.  

 

Chattanooga Pride Festival will consist of two events on Sunday: From 11 a.m.-1 p.m. the ramp from the Veteran’s Bridge onto Riverfront will be closed and Riverfront Parkway will be closed from Aquarium Way to the entrance to the Riverfront Parking Lot.  After the parade, the festival hours will be from 1-8 p.m.  At that time, Riverfront Parkway from Power Alley to Chestnut Street will be closed.  

 

Reggie White Boulevard from the entrance to the skate park will be closed from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday for the Chattanooga Market.
