Impressed By Marty Haynes' Tough Votes

As a young Republican watching those who serve the public, I am impressed by the tough votes by County Commissioner Marty Haynes that are purely a reflection of his conservative principles to balance the budget and not spend money we don’t have. 

There are all sorts of people who say they want a smaller government that is transparent, but there seem to be fewer people who do more than talk.  As a 19-year old, I am in the generation that will be faced with the bad decisions to keep spending by politicians who think it’s their money or who think they deserve special treatment after years of being in government.  It’s time to put fresh leaders in elected office to serve our public. 

Thank you, Marty Haynes, for being a worthy leader and bringing your business experience into our local government.
