Chattanooga needs Java. But not the coffee kind, the developer kind.

The Chattanooga Chamber hopes to recruit an anonymous software development firm to Chattanooga. The Chamber is conducting a blind job posting for this IT and software development firm interested in expanding to Chattanooga, potentially creating 100 jobs over three years.

Chattanooga’s downtown amenities, thriving startup scene and outdoor recreation captured the company’s attention, now focused on understanding the regional workforce and recruiting software developers in Chattanooga. Results of this blind job posting represent the availability of a qualified local workforce.

“Successful recruitment of this company will strengthen our growing tech sector, diversify our local economy and help us retain existing talent as well as attract new talent,” said Charles Wood, vice president of Economic Development at the Chattanooga Chamber.
