Dr. Martin Ringstaff, Director of Cleveland City Schools, announced that Mr. Mike Collier, current principal at Cleveland Middle School, will replace Mrs. Carolyn Ingram as Donald P. Yates Primary School Principal beginning July 1. Mrs. Ingram is retiring after 23 years as principal at Yates Primary School; she has been the only principal at Yates since the school opened in 1993.
Dr. Ringstaff said, “Mrs. Ingram has influenced thousands of students over the years. Her career has been built on fairness, integrity, and an amazing love for children.
Mr. Collier will continue the excellence at Yates Primary School.” Mr. Mike Collier has served Cleveland Middle School as principal since 2012.
