  • Thursday, October 20, 2016

The Tennessee Women’s Political Caucus, in affiliation with the National Women’s Political Caucus,
endorses Khristy Wilkinson for the Tennessee State Senate, District 10 position on the ballot for the Nov. 8.

“Women will be the deciding factor this election, it is crucial that in this political climate we continue as an organization to support women in the political process and encourage all women to vote,” said Gabriela Salinas, president of the Tennessee Women’s Political Caucus. “We feel Khristy Wilkinson is the best choice for District 10. As a mother, a neighborhood advocate, and an academic she has unique insight into the challenges women and families in her district face on a daily basis. Her voice is an important one to have in the Tennessee Senate.”

“Khristy Wilkinson will be an advocate for women in Capitol Hill, she will fight to guarantee that all women get equal pay, and have access to affordable childcare and healthcare,” said Gabriela Salinas, president of the Tennessee Women’s Political Caucus. “Her platform is one that reaches statewide. Her support of early childhood education and Insure TN will positively impact all Tennessee families.”
