  • Wednesday, October 26, 2016

First Christian Church (FCC) and The House, University Ministries of Chattanooga, are hosting a free Fall Festival and Block Party on Thursday, from 4-7 p.m. in the parking lot of First Christian Church, 650 McCallie Ave.

“We are so excited to be working with The House ministry to provide a Fall Festival/Block Party for families,” said Rev. Jonathan Hyde, FCC assistant minister. “People of all ages are invited to First Christian Church for fun, food and lots of fur."

The “fur” part of the event will be a petting zoo available from 4-5 p.m.

Other activities also available include face painting, magic, and games; and the evening would not be complete without candy.

“We hope families will take advantage of this time to connect with students from The House, as well as enjoy the fellowship of the First Christian Community,” said Mr. Hyde.

Located at 650 McCallie Ave, across from UTC, all are welcome at First Christian Church, a church of service, working for wholeness in a broken world. Visit http://firstchristian-chat.com for more information.
