CCS Earns 55-0 Win Over Copper Basin

The Chargers of CCS scored 41 points in the first half Friday night in their 55-0 win over visiting Copper Basin.  

Ian Gaines scored three rushing touchdowns.  Matthew Mercer had two and Justin Wheeler had one.   Wheeler rushed 13 times for 106 yards all in the first half.  

Mercer completed two of three passes for 37 yards and Matthew Neff had one completion on one attempt that resulted in a 56 yard touchdown pass to Rashun Evans in the fourth quarter.

CCS finished with 302 total yards of offense and Copper Basin had 102.

CCS will play at Red Bank next Friday in a key region game.
