The Baylor volleyball team had to work a little harder than normal, but they ended up beating Harpeth Hall in a grueling five-set match to win the East region title with a perfect 12-0 mark.
Baylor, improving to 42-2 overall, beat the Honey Bears by scores of 25-14, 23-25, 24-26, 25-14 and 15-12.
Jane Wilson, Gabby Gray and All Craig all had 11 kills for the Baylor team while Lilly Turner had 35 digs and Sarah Sumida 46 assists in addition to a dozen digs.
In another region match in Nashville on Friday, the GPS Bruisers got shut out at Ensworth by scores of 25-19, 25-12 and 25-22.
Reagan Long had seven kills for the Bruisers while Courtlyn Martino had 14 digs.
