  • Thursday, November 10, 2016

A commercial development is planned on the north side of Hixson Pike at Cassandra Smith Road.

David Kelly is proposing restaurants, offices and a convenience store with a fuel center on a 6.7-acre tract owned by the estate of George Rogers.

There are several small buildings along Hixson Pike, but the majority of the site is undeveloped.

It is across from Publix.

The rezoning request goes before the Planning Commission on Monday at 1 p.m. at the County Courthouse.

The staff is recommending approval.
