Lee University’s Opera Theatre presents Musical Revue on Sunday

Lee University’s Opera Theatre will present Musical Revue, a compilation of well-known opera scenes, on Sunday at 3 p.m. in the Squires Recital Hall.

The Opera Theatre, comprising 27 singers, will perform passages from 13 different scenes out of various musicals, including, “Sound of Music,” “Candide,” “Cabaret,” “Into the Woods,” “Little Women,” and “West Side Story,” among others.

The Opera Theatre, directed by Associate Professor of Music James Frost, began in the spring of 1998 as a workshop and now is a full production organization performing fully-staged operas from both standard and less traditional repertoire.

The performance is a free, non-ticketed event and open to the public.

For more information about the Revue or Lee’s Opera Theatre, contact Frost at jfrost@leeuniversity.edu.
