1 Person Dies In Early Morning House Fire In Cleveland

One person died in an early morning house fire in Cleveland on Wednesday.

The Cleveland Fire Department and the Cleveland Police Department have been on scene at a residential structure fire at 1405 Blythe Ferry Road since 1 a.m.

Five people were inside the residence at the time of the fire. Two adults and two children, with varying degrees of injuries, were able to escape and were transported to area hospitals.

One adult was unable to escape and is deceased.

Arson and criminal investigators, along with Crime Scene Technicians will be investigating the fire.

First responders expect to be on the scene at Blythe Ferry around Faulk Drive for most of the day.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible.
