Erlanger East Hospital Celebrates Completion Of $50 Million Expansion Wednesday

Erlanger officials and physicians are hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday celebrating completion of the $50 million expansion of Erlanger East Hospital into a full-service, lifestyle hospital.

Ceremonies will kick off Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the entrance to the newly completed patient tower which will accommodate 107 patients. 

Those attending Wednesday's celebration will have the opportunity to tour several areas of Chattanooga's first lifestyle hospital, including patient rooms, lobby and dining area, intensive care unit, cardiovascular lab and new surgical areas.  Also showcased during this event are the children's playground, putting green and walking trail.

Among Erlanger's special guests are former UT football coach, Phil Fulmer, and LPGA golfer and native Chattanoogan, Brooke Pancake.  Elected officials and other dignitaries will also be in attendance.
