Zoe, a local Girl Scout of three years, landed her first big acting role in the remake of classic series MacGyver.

When Zoe expressed an interest in acting, her mom Latoya submitted her pictures to a talent agency. From there, Zoe got auditions for small roles, including a movie.

While her role on the series MacGyver is not a recurring character, she enjoyed the experience. According to her mom, Zoe was confident on set due to many interviews and segments at local news stations for Girl Scouts.

“I’ve done many on-air interviews with Zoe over the past couple of years and have always been impressed with her talent, poise, bravery, and humor,” says Laura Skonberg, vice president of communications for the Girl Scouts of the Southern Appalachians. “In true Girl Scout form, she handled her dream to be an actress like a G.I.R.L. (Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-taker, Leader) and here she is - on a major TV drama series.”
