Mother And Son Receive Mock Key To New Habitat Home Saturday

  • Wednesday, December 14, 2016

As most people around the world celebrate the Christmas Holiday with unwrapping gifts on Dec. 25, one family will unwrap the best gift they could ever imagine eight days before Christmas.

Chattanooga native and mother of one will receive the gift of home ownership with the support of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Chattanooga Area and the city of Chattanooga’s Department of Economic & Community Development.

Officials will present the mock key to the mother and her 6-year-old son on Saturday.

While the family will receive their key on this day, the family will not move into her new home until January.
