Lucy Smith
Lucy Mae Smith, 83, of Chattanooga, died on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 in a local health care facility.
She was a lifelong member of Rock Island Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, J. B. and Mattie Smith; and brother, Theodore “Roosevelt” Smith.
Survivors include daughter, Pamela (Stevie) Perry; grandchildren, Shermaine Smith and Chantell Smith, all of Chattanooga; cousin, Annie Smith Dean of Detroit, MI; a host of many friends.
She will lie in state on Saturday, Dec. 3, after 1:30 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be on Sunday, Dec. 4, at 2 p.m. at Rock Island Baptist Church with Pastor Ronald Cook as the eulogist. Burial will be in Tyner Cemetery.
