Nellie Beatrice Morgan, 83, of Summerville, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016, in a Rome health care facility.
She was born on August 10, 1933, in Trion, GA to the late Joseph Eugene and Eunice Estelle Fomby Peterson; and was also preceded in death by her husband, the late Rev. Walter L. Morgan.
Survivors include daughters & sons-in-law, Cheryl J. & Donald R. Thedford, Jr. and Janice L. & Randy C. Jennings; son & daughter-in-law, Rickey M. & Brenda Morgan; granddaughters & spouses, Stacy L. & Jeffrey S. Kirby, Amy L. & Jeremie D. Wallin and Tiffany N. Jennings; grandsons & spouses, Clayton J. Madison, Jr. & Terra J. Madison & Adam & Alaina McGuire; great-granddaughters, Kelsey J. Johnson Freeman, Abigail Madison, Allison Madison, Ashley Kirby and Adalynn McGuire; great-grandsons, Bradley S. Kirby, Addison McGuire, Joey Wallin, Aaden McGuire and Austin McGuire; and great-great-grandsons, Casison Freeman & Emerson Madison.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 31 at 11 a.m. from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Don & Rhonda Mason officiating. Interment will follow in Summerville Cemetery. Pallbearers are Adam McGuire, Jeff Kirby, Steve Morgan, Clayton Madison, Jr., Jeremie Wallin and Sammy Hamby, Jr.
The Family will receive friends Friday, December 30 from 6-8 p.m. at the Earle Rainwater Funeral Home who is in charge of arrangements.
