Irish Record Four Pins, But Lose In Rooster Duals Thursday At Alcoa

The Fighting Irish of Notre Dame got four pins in its wrestling match with the Maryville Rebels on Thursday in the Rooster Duals at Alcoa High School, but it wasn't enough as the Irish came out on the short end of a 54-27 final.

Daniel Hodges, James Boyd, Jeremy Holloway and Grant Speer all had pins for the Irish, but the only other win for Notre Dame came via an 11-8 decision by Alex Spraker at 138 pounds.
