Mary Ellen "Polly" Levi
Mary Ellen “Polly” Pollard Levi, died on December 3, 2016.
She was born on Nov. 5, 1927, and was one of 14 children born to Charles Leslie and Elsie Byrd Pollard. Polly was a friend to all and so enjoyed her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herchel E. Levi, Sr., daughter, Kimberly Rozanne Fryer; son-in-law, Phil Fryar; granddaughter, April Fryar; daughter-in-law, Rhonda Levi, granddaughters, Heather and Erica Levi; parents, Charles Leslie Pollard, Sr., and Elsie Byrd Pollard; sisters, Genetta Pollard, Louise Elliott, Ollie Mae Ricketts, Edith “Pug” Lasley, Geneva Burdette, Josephine Houston; brothers, Emmet “Shug” Pollard, Bill Pollard and Joe Pollard.
She is survived by her children, Donna (Frank) Copeland, Eddie (Linda) Levi, Sue (Jerry) Carpenter, Sherrye (Barney) Skiles, and Douglas Levi; grandchildren, Connie (Aaron) Dodd, Karen (Andy) McCuiston, Brian (Amy) Levi, Christy Hamrick, Tonya (Frankie) Goins, Jerald (Angie) Carpenter, Jarod Skiles, Amy Skiles, Carey (Adam) Norwood, and Brent Levi. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Katherine Sorrick, Phyllis Ball, Dorothy McAfee, and Diane Overdear.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 6, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Reverend Joe Caldwell officiating. Interment will follow in Varner Cemetery.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 5, at the funeral home.
