Ice on the Landing, presented by Volkswagen Chattanooga, will feature the following activities this week:
Tuesday, Dec. 6, is college student night, with a $2 discount offered to any student with a college ID from 5-9 p.m.
Wednesday, Dec. 7, is Charity Night, featuring the Kidney Foundation of Greater Chattanooga. Ice on the landing will share 20 percent of ticket sales made between 5-9 p.m. with this local charity.
Since it is also Pearl Harbor Day, Ice on the Landing will be offering a $2 discount to veterans all day.
Thursday, Dec. 8, is Family Night, a popular promotion offering one free child’s ticket for each paid adult ticket from 5-9 p.m.
Sunday, Dec. 10, will feature “Victorian” carolers from 2-3 p.m. by the rink.
Ticket pricing is $10 for an adult ticket, and $8 for skaters aged 12 and under. This includes skate rentals and a two-hour skate session. Rink-side vending includes hot chocolate, Nutella crepes from Adelle’s Creperie, as well as barbeque sliders, bratwurst, redneck burritos, grilled cheese, tomato soup, and cobbler from Puckett’s Restaurant. Soft drinks, coffee, beer and wine and snacks will also be sold from the Choo Choo Caboose.
