Lee University’s School of Religion and School of Music will present the sixth annual Lessons & Carols on Thursday, Dec. 15, at 7:30 p.m. in the Lee Chapel.
Students and faculty from the School of Religion will present biblical lessons woven together with congregational carols and musical selections from Lee’s Chorale directed by William Green. Matthew Krepps will serve as the organist for the service and will present an extended organ prelude to the service.
“For many of us at Lee and in the Cleveland community the Lessons & Carols service has become the heart of our Christmas offerings,” said Mr. Green, dean of the School of Music and director of Lee’s Chorale. “It is a unique and special time to reflect on the beauty and meaning of the Christmas celebration.”
The event is free of charge, but tickets are required due to limited seating. Tickets are available at the Dixon Center Box Office, 614-8343, weekdays from 3-6 p.m. or at the Lee Chapel one hour prior to the event.
