Hamilton Heights Rolls Past Wesley Christian 94-64

Hamilton Heights’ Canadian Connection was back in full force Thursday night in a crushing 94-64 victory over Wesley Christian at Portsmouth High School.

Therren Shelton-Szmidt led the way with 29 points, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 21 and Nickeil Alexander-Walker closed with 17. All three Hawks, who came to Hamilton Heights from Canada before the 2015-16 season, have signed Division I scholarships with Middle Tennessee, Kentucky and Virginia Tech, respectively.

The Hawks led 39-29 at halftime and then scored 55 points in the second half to record the 30-point blowout.

Hamilton Heights (7-2) next plays Athlete Institute on Saturday at noon.
