"Led by educators Jon Souders and Taunya Lovelace, CHS Digital Media competed against exceptional schools all over the nation," officials said.
The award ceremony took place in Atlanta with over 5,000 in attendance on March 12.
Cleveland High School Principal Autumn O’Bryan stated, "This is a result of hard work and dedicated students. Jon and his team have worked diligently to strive for the level of professionalism that is literally second to no one.”
The CHS Digital Media Arts program was also awarded the Best Overall School Broadcast Program in the nation by the National Federation of State High School Associations in July 2015.
Mr. Renny Whittenbarger, supervisor of Career Technical Education, said, “Our CHS students are determined and committed to excellence. Thanks to Jon Souders and Taunya Lovelace for their commitment, endless hours, and desire to share their expertise with our students.”
