This message is more timely now than ever, as we all have the opportunity to 'Be the change' we wish to see in our own lives, our community, and the world."

The series recently profiled Lynelle Wright, a woman who lost her arm in a lawnmower accident at the age of three, and Amanda McAdams, a woman who suffered traumatic injuries when she was hit by an 18-wheeler and walks with a cane today. Both Wright and McAdams work out regularly at Gold's Gym Lee Highway location and inspire their trainers and fellow Gold's Gym clients to live every day with "Strength and a #HeartOfGolds."

Alicia Strange, field marketing manager for Gold's Gym Southeast Division said, “Gold’s Gym Chattanooga is so excited to be bringing this event to our city. We encourage everyone to join us on Monday, for this incredible moment with history. Take this day to reflect with us on all the things that make us strong - our bodies, minds, and our triumphant spirits. You will indeed leave this event recharged and equipped to 'BE the change' in both your own life and your community. Total body wellness begins with a commitment to self. Are you ready?”

Missy Crutchfield, Gandhi's Be Magazine and Gandhi Global Center For Peace said, "We are honored to be partnering with Gold's Gym for 'Gandhi Visits Chattanooga 2016' as we celebrate the 'Heart of Gold's' campaign and share the inspiring stories of people with great strength and a 'Heart of Gold's.' We hope this full day of physical wellness, meditation, yoga, and conversations about embracing nonviolence in our lives with Mahatma Gandhi's grandson Arun Gandhi will inspire the greater Chattanooga community and beyond to a higher calling of nonviolence, peace, and fully committing to a 'Healthy Mind, Body, Spirit, People, Planet, and Animals'."
