Unum is promoting Marco Forato to the role of senior vice president for corporate strategy and development and Tyler Siira has been named vice president and treasurer.
In addition to his current responsibility leading Unum’s global growth strategy, Mr. Forato will take on accountability for strategic corporate development to help Unum introduce new products, services or partnerships, and to expand its global footprint. Mr. Forato has been with Unum since 2007, with previous roles including vice president of marketing strategy and communication for Unum US, and chief marketing officer for Unum UK.
Currently based in Dorking, Surrey, in the U.K., Mr. Forato will relocate to the company’s Chattanooga headquarters this summer.
Mr. Siira has served in various roles across the Finance and Investment organizations in Chattanooga over the last 14 years, most recently as assistant treasurer. In his new role Mr. Siira will oversee all U.S. treasury functions including banking operations, liquidity management and capital market transactions.
