Wild Chattanooga: Take A Walk On The Wild Side

The Tennessee Aquarium and Reflection Riding Arboretum and Nature Center are partnering to offer Wild Chattanooga.

This is a brand new, family-friendly, series of one-day adventures spent close to home in the wilds of Chattanooga. Spend part of a day exploring the wild places and wildlife right in your own back yard. This series offers programs that vary in length and complexity, but you can expect to spend time in the field with natural history experts. You’ll have opportunities to participate in citizen science and experience the biodiversity of the region first hand.

The next session of Wild Chattanooga helps everyone get better acquainted with our feathered friends.

“Birds of a Feather” on Saturday, May 7

10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Migratory Bird Treaty Act by enjoying getting to know our feathered neighbors better. Featured activities will be bird walks, banding demonstrations, bird of prey presentations and if we’re lucky, maybe even some releases of rehabilitated wild creatures.
